SEASON

III

Season III has been our most successful and expansive season to date, marking a significant turning point in our journey. The growth of our community has been nothing short of remarkable, with a larger, more diverse group of participants than ever before. This season, we structured our programs into three distinct groups, each designed to meet the unique needs and aspirations of our dancers.

MAREA I

catered to advanced and semi-professional students, guiding them as they move toward the professional world. Our goal was to help them sharpen their skills and gain the tools they need for a successful career in dance.

MAREA II

was designed for intermediate to advanced students, focusing on helping them find authenticity and safety in their movement while also challenging them to build a solid technical foundation. We worked to push them beyond their comfort zones, fostering growth both in their artistry and their technical ability.

MAREA JUNIOR

a group of incredibly talented young dancers—were also ready for more intense training in a professional environment. With our adult members as role models, they were exposed to the demands of the industry while developing the discipline and work ethic needed to succeed in a professional setting.

SEASON III SCHEDULE

During our third season our classes have grown to include a wide range of disciplines designed to push both the technical and creative boundaries of our dancers. These include intensive conditioning and technique sessions, as well as specialized training in jazz, contemporary fusion, and movement research. We’ve also been fortunate enough to welcome a number of exceptional guest teachers throughout the season, each bringing their own expertise and fresh perspectives, further enriching the educational experience for all our students.

This season also marked a major development for our Junior Company, which has now officially become a group of its own, separate from the other program members. With them the focus laid on preparing them for the workfield, letting them explore many different aspects of the workfield such as live performances and film, while coaching them to help them professionalize with things such as their curriculum, portfolios, administration and online presence.
