Dear MAREA community,

Taking time away from all of you was one of the hardest decisions I’ve made, but after six months of reflection on everything MAREA has been and all the incredible potential it holds, I’m so happy to be reconnecting with you.  

This break gave me the space to reflect on the kind of teacher I want to be, the future of MAREA, and how to create a better balance between your needs and my own. Your kind messages reminded me just how much this community means to all of you and how deeply MAREA has impacted all of our lives.

Carrying the weight of running this program made it hard at times to fully see the impact we’ve created together, but this break has given me the clarity to realize just how essential MAREA is—for you and for me. 

To me MAREA has always been a safe haven, a place where we can explore, express, and find authenticity in our movement. It’s where we challenge ourselves to grow, lean on each other for support, and find guidance from our teachers. It’s a place I’ve missed so much, especially connecting with all of you through dance.

Thank you for your patience, your love, and your unwavering support.

I can’t wait to continue this journey together and welcome you all back to the studio. More to come soon.
