“As a teacher, I’ve always been passionate about offering my students more than a physicality-based curriculum. To help them connect their personal vision to their art, while providing high-level training and personal coaching. I wasn’t always able to offer this within the structure of conventional dance classes, and so MAREA was born. A platform dedicated to empowering young dancers to unleash their creativity, find their inner voice, and develop their individuality. With the goal to give them opportunities to pursue their ambitions and figure out what they want to do with their art, while being supported and inspired by their peers.
As a community we strongly believe in the value of embracing our shared humanity, because we know that our strength comes not from hiding our imperfections, but from acknowledging and embracing them. We believe that growth is a continuous process, and that mistakes are opportunities to learn and improve.
